Description

Florentine Last Suppers and Cloisters

The itinerary that we propose touches some of the most relevant depictions of the Last Supper and cloisters of Florence, places of communitarian spirituality and religious life, decorated and enriched by some of the most important Italian artists between 1400s and 1500s. The sacred stories represented on the walls, rich in symbols, still talk to us about the beauty and silence that reigned in these spaces where friars and monks lived, surrounded by paintings, that also inspired great masters such as Leonardo da Vinci for his “Last Supper” in Milan.
