Pompeii and Vesuvius

Visit the ruins of the town of Pompeii, buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 A.D. and preserved nearly intact for centuries. The tour will show you something about the lifestyle of the ancient inhabitants of the Town, and you’ll be astonished by the number of villas, shops and public buildings that archaeologist brought back to light. Also, you will stop at a local factory to look at the productive process of Cameos and Corals. After lunch you will visit the Vesuvius, and you will discover the wonders of this place, declared by Unesco “Biosphere World Reserve”.

Excursion guaranteed everyday, except January 1 and December 25. Schedule might change because of traffic or meteorological conditions. Duration 8 hours. Languages: English and Italian Includes: Bus and guide (audio guide if group is formed by less than 6 people, human guide if group is formed by 6 or more people), and lunch (drinks excluded). For Vesuvio visit, guide will meet the group at arrival to the crater. All the excursions are free for children up to 3 years. The company is not responsible if you get lost during the excursion. Cancellation policy: In case of cancellation notified by the client at least 2 business days before the departure, the total price will be refunded. Less than 2 business days before the departure and no show:100% penality. The society reserves the faculty to modify time-tables conditions ( adverse weather, rough sea etc.) and itineraries for circumstances beyond its control and without notice, and to cancel the sightseeing refunding the amount paid.
