The path has allowed us to access a range of venues used by workers directed by the great architects who have come and gone over the centuries. The visit is allowed only in groups of maximum 18 people, accompanied by security staff, and reveals a series of discoveries and emotions.

The Gate of Heaven Cathedral of Siena   Times: From Monday to Saturday: from 10:30am to 6pm, each 30 minutes Sundays: from 2pm to 6pm, each 30 minutes Duration: 30 minutes. All visitors will receive the Roof Map, a useful visit tool that becomes a gadget to take home, available in the following languages: Italian, English, French, German, Spanish and Russian. Reservations must be made with a minimum of 1 day notice. Save time in ordering! Add into your basket all the museum tickets you want, then fill the form and send the request. Cancellations and changes: Once a visit is confirmed, it can be changed, upon the payment of a penalty fee, according to museum availability. Confirmed visits can be canceled and refunded cost of unused tickets minus service fee. No shows can also be refunded, upon request, for cost of unused tickets minus service fee. HOW TO REACH SIENA: BUS LINE FLORENCE - SIENA (SITA): Click here for information regarding this line From North: A1 Highway - exit Firenze Certosa; then, Superstrada Firenze Siena - exit Siena Porta San Marco. Follow indications to Il Fagiolone Parking, Strada di Pescaia, to make the checkpoint and continue until Porta San Marco, where passengers will be able to make the visit of Siena. From South: A1 Highway - exit Bettolle, then, Raccordo Autostradale Bettolle Siena - entrance Siena West Ring Road - exit Siena Porta San Marco Information guidelines for visitors to the Attic Shoes: or safety reasons, it is strongly advised to refuse admission to visitors wearing high-heeled shoes. Visitors are advised to wear close-toed shoes with antislip soles (no slippers, thongs, sandals, clogs, or footwear with leather soles). Caution: pay the utmost attention to the height of ceilings and passageways. Heights: the tour is not recommended for people suffering from heart conditions or dizziness, and anyone not in a suitable state of health to climb up to and visit the superelevated locations; visitors are advised to carry cameras, mobile phones, eyeglasses etc. on a shoulder strap or tied to the wrist in order to avoid accidental falls. Children: it is advised to hold children by the hand and make sure they do not elude control at any time. Fire: smoking is prohibited in all the outdoor areas and at lookouts. Entrance/exit: visitors are informed that for safety reasons, stopping in the entrance/exit “winding staircase” is permitted for the time strictly necessary to deposit or claim umbrellas (other personal effects can not be deposited). Depositing personal effects: visitors carrying backpacks or large bulky bags will not be admitted. Clients are advised that personal effects can not be deposited in the OPA Museum Complex. Visitors displaying illegitimate, illicit or harmful behaviour or that, in any event, is dangerous for themselves and for the other people present, such as failure to comply with the safety indications given at the time of booking and/or during the visit, will be asked to leave and have no right to reimbursement.
