Miramare Castle in Trieste

Miramare Castle faces the Trieste Gulf , a few kilometers from the north of the homonym city and it was created by the Viennese arquitect Carl Junker between 1856 and 1860, desired by archduke Maximilian of Habsburg, later Emperor of Mexico, that preserves inside it the furniture and original decorations of the era.

Tickets: Full price Reduced price: From 18 to 25 years, Italian and EU citizens Free tickets: Over 65s and under 18s, Italian and EU citizens Under 12s (accompanied by an adult) All school groups, Italian and EU, after submitting the student list and the authorization from the school head Service fees and eventual temporary exhibition fees are due for any kind of ticket and for gratuity days. Please notice you'll be asked to exhibit an identity document at the museum entrance

Reservations must be made with a minimum of 1 day notice. Save time in ordering! Add into your basket all the museum tickets you want, then fill the form and send the request. Before making your reservation, please, read the Ordering Informations ATTENTION: By selecting "audioguide" visit will also include this service; audioguides are available in Italian, German, English, French, Spanish and Slovenian. IMPORTANT NOTICE: After succesfully completing a reservation, you will receive two e- mails: the copy of your order (immediately after submitting your order) and the confirmation mail (one working day after). PLEASE NOTICE: Confirmed time is not always the same time you requested; museum automatically confirms the closest available time on the same date if requested time is sold out. ATTENTION: the morning of the visit, before museum opening, tickets are printed in the ticket office, and after this refund for no shows is no longer possible. Opening hours: Everyday from 09:00 to 19:00, last entrance at 18:30. Cancellation Policy: For cancellations once a confirmation code has been assigned to the reservation, up to 8 days before the date of the visit, we can refund cost of unused tickets minus service fee (reservation fee and online booking fee). For further cancellations and no shows, no refund is possible.
